Claude and ChatGPT forget everything the moment a chat ends. Tenka Memory is a private store you own: ask the assistant to “save this to Tenka Memory” and the transcript lands in a project you control. Later, in a fresh chat — or in the other assistant entirely — ask it to “recall what we decided about X” and it reads back from the same memory. Your notes, your projects, portable across both AIs.
Connect it
You'll need a free Tenka account — sign in or sign up here. When either assistant asks you to connect, you'll sign in with Tenka and approve access. Setup is once per assistant.

These are the current steps for adding Tenka Memory yourself. We're getting listed in the Claude and ChatGPT app directories — once approved you'll be able to find Tenka Memory and connect it in one click, no URL to paste.
What it can do
Save the conversation you're in, into a project you name (or a default “Saved chats” project). Recall earlier chats and notes by search. Organize into projects. That's the whole surface — add and recall, nothing else.
What it can't do
By design, this is save on request, not background capture. The assistant can only pass along the conversation you explicitly ask it to save, in a chat where you've turned the connector on. It cannot read your other chats, and it cannot reach past conversations. Nothing is ever deleted through the AI connection — the whole delete surface is removed, so a connected assistant can add to your memory but never destroy it. Your data stays in your Tenka account, hosted in the EU.
Manage it in your dashboard
Everything you save is also in your private area on tenka.cloud. There you can review, organize, edit, and export your memory (including to Word) — and permanently delete anything you no longer want. Permanent deletion lives only in your dashboard, never in the AI connection, so you always stay in control of what's kept.
